Sanjay Leela Bhansali s magnum opus Padmavati is continuously under the radar of uninvited circumstances.

The set in Jaipur was destroyed by a group named Karni Sena which also physically abused Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Then the set in Kolhapur was put on fire by some unidentified protesters.

As reported in Deccan Chronicle, a source close to the film revealed, They have all put their other movie commitments on hold indefinitely.

Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh have been following extensive diet and have worked hard on their physic. Also, Deepika Padukone has done a lot of study to nail the role of Rani Padmini. Having done all this, we are sure that they are attached to the story, hence the commitment! The obstacles that are coming in the way of making of the film has not discouraged anyone from the crew. In fact, they are now more determined to complete the film just as they aspired it to be! The makers recently announced that the release date of Padmavati is not going to be changed which is November 17, 2017.
